A full interior renovation of a 1950s bungalow that embraces a neglected backyard to fulfill the owner’s dream of living a true Californian indoor-outdoor lifestyle.


Breakfast with a view. Built-in nook cabinets are fabricated from Cherry veneer plywood slabs. Our design honors the home's history with a modern take on the classic checkered floor by using large format marble look tiles to form its pattern, creating a heightened sense of scale and spaciousness in the narrow galley kitchen. The kitchen flows directly onto a deck in the backyard. Across from the breakfast nook are niches displaying curiosities from the owner's world travels.
